    Fabulous

Good personnel, perfect location; Cosy room; The price was very good) Good Internet speed Tea facilities in the room

Was quite cold: we were in December Stairway to reception: may be inconvenient if you travel with big or heavy luggage No facilities for disabled in the wheel-chair No breakfast (but the price still was very good, so breakfast's not a problem)

Very good location and our host Anton was very helpful

the absence of the lift which cause problem if you are travelling with heavy suitcases

    - Rooms were amazing very spacious & beds were so comforatable - Prime location -Private and relaxing

-The amount of stairs - I couldnt figure out how to turn the heated floors on - One morning I woke up to about 30 minutes of loud banging

Superb location, friendly helpful staff, immaculate bedroom and bathroom.

    Very good

    Location.

The only thing I didn't like was the narrow stairs from the street to the reception, but that's no big deal! But there was nothing I especially liked either. I'd call this a 3-star hotel - no more.

    Good

Friendly staff, hassle free. Good hospitality tray, clean and modern rooms and ensuite. Easy access from train station and good central location.

A bit pricey for just a bed overnight. There's nowhere to use the hair dryer with a mirror. There is a fair amount of noise first thing in the morning from the streets and hotel, not very sound proof.

Located in city centre, nice surroundings, comfort, nice staff, the room is very nice, reasonable price.

The staff. The room. The location. We are back in Oxford in Jan/Feb and will be using the The Bocardo again.

Very central location, very helpful staff.

No bar, lounge etc, but no problem as so central.

    Superb

The location of the hotel was perfect, everything was so close to the hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly and it was nice to have hot chocolate as well as tea and coffee in the room.

It was quite noisy at night but it was to be expected due to location.

    Location

I am amazed this is a ‘AA 5’ start hotel as the are no facilities whatsoever. I was expecting some kind of lounge or small bar at least. I was also surprised when I asked “what time is breakfasts served” only to find out they do not do breakfast and there is not any form of communal area at all. A staircase leads to a small reception which closes at 7pm and a corridor to the room. I could accept this if the rates were £50 per night but for £130 per night I expected a lot more. The man at reception though was very nice and helpful.

I'm v noise sensitive and could hear people walking past the room

    Exceptional

Very friendly greeting - offered us the loan of an umbrella as it was raining. Compact but spotless room - lots of storage considering room size. L'Occitane toileteries One door away from Jamies Italian restaurant and three doors away from New Theatre. Plenty of other restaurants nearby and close to shops. Cafe next door for breakfast and another a bit further up the street.

Room overlooked busy side-street which was a bit noisy but it didnt really bother us. We hadnt asked for a quiet room and i'm sure they would have quieter rooms if you asked. It is a very central location and if you want central, its going to be in a busy area. No hotel parking but thats not unusual for city locations. We did Pear Tree Park & Ride which worked out well.
